The Scattered House

Spring — March 21 to June 20

Mercury enters a scattered house. You are drawn to the new — a careless mistake awaits you in work that bores you.

Your mind travels. Someone will speak directly to you and you will not be listening.

You hold many things at once. You will lose something you need and find it somewhere you already looked.

Saturn asks for patience. A task requiring sustained mental effort approaches, and you are not looking forward to it.

Venus favors speech. You will interrupt someone this week, and this is a sign.

Summer — June 21 to September 22

Jupiter turns toward the literal house. You resist what disrupts your order — a plan will change and you will not enjoy this.

You carry deep sensitivities. A sound others do not notice will bother you.

You are an honest soul. You take people for their words, not for their expressions.

The stars keep their reasons. A conversation will end and you will not know why.

Your passions run deep. Your interest in one subject will outlast the conversation it began in, and this is a sign.

Autumn — September 23 to December 20

The waning moon asks what you cannot stop thinking about. An unwanted thought arrives, and you push it away, and it returns.

You are attentive to what others overlook. A thing left slightly crooked will draw your eye.

Mercury counsels certainty. You will check something you have already checked.

You are wise beyond your doubts. The checking will feel necessary and will not be.

Your insight is good. This does not exempt you.

Winter — December 21 to March 20

Jupiter rises for four consecutive days. Some weeks you will feel capable of a great deal.

The moon turns and does not explain itself. Other weeks you will not, and the weather will not account for it.

You are lit from within. You will sleep less and feel fine, and you will talk more than usual, and someone will notice.

Venus warns of a bright mood. A purchase will be made in it.

Your functioning changes observably, but not enough to cause marked impairment. This is the diagnosis.
